One of the most highly anticipated festivals of the year is about to get some serious buzz. Spring Awakening, one of Chicago’s premium electronic music festivals, just released an impressive 2018 lineup. Thankfully there’s no hip-hop gimmicks here as the lineup is full of quality.
With major headliners like Tiesto, Steve Aoki, and Hardwell tapped to play, Spring Awakening 2018 is pulling all the stops this year. Zeds Dead, Tchami, Virtual Self, Deadmau5, Borgore, NGHTMRE, and more are also confirmed to play. Chicago native Kaskade is also scheduled to play. Maybe he’s got another special sunset planned.
There’s also some interesting stage additions as well. There will be a “Trance Arena” and a stage dedicated to tech house called “Requiem”. Overall this seems to be a pretty well rounded lineup. Phase 2 is expected sometime next week. Check out phase 1 below.
