Gabriel & Dresden Feat. Sub Teal – Only Road (Cosmic Gate Remix)
EDMTunes recently covered the release of Gabriel and Dresden‘s new album The Only Road. After an eleven year hiatus, the American trance duo returned to Above and Beyond‘s Anjunabeats label. And another classic trance duo, Cosmic Gate, are in the driver’s seat on a fresh remix of the title track ‘Only Road’. Coming in hard with their unique German trance sound, Claus Terhoeven and Stefan Bossems deliver a compelling new take on one of the biggest hits of 2017.
The original ‘Only Road’ is a deep, melodic artist piece to open the album. But Cosmic Gate presents the souped-up big room banger mix of Gabriel and Dresden’s title track. From the intense uplifting synths to the eerie breakdown, they certainly treat this remix right. The vocals of Sub Teal are still heavily featured, enhanced by the instrumentation behind them. If you haven’t seen an Anjunabeats set lately, expect to hear this on the dance floor.
