Heldeep DJ Tools Part 6
Through his imprint Heldeep Records, Oliver Heldens has been busy selecting some of hottest recent Deep House/House bangers like Mr. Belt & Wezol & Shermanology’s ‘Hide & Seek‘, and ‘Get Busy‘ by Steff da Campo to name a couple. Over the few years since he started the label, he has worked with a variety of talented artists who have helped make Heldeep one of the top 40 sub-labels under Spinnin’ Records. The recent additions to this long list of artists are Tom & Jame, Roger Horton and Syskey with each of their new tracks appearing on the Heldeep DJ Tools EP Part 6.
The first track ‘Just Like That‘ belongs to Tom & Jame. It is a proper dance number filled with typical house elements. The skipping bassline and the tension that rises give the song a happy and exciting vibe, while the vocals gel in quite well with the tune too. ‘Laid Back‘ by Roger Horton is a solid Bass House/Deep house track that will certainly get your foot-tapping. The slow yet resolute transition to the upper layers of the track fit in seamlessly. ‘Confuss‘ by Syskey moves along with a classy ease as the melody of the track is something to relish.
