The K-pop phenomena BTS has taken over music markets all over the world. Their versatile talent is extremely refreshing and stands out amongst the rest of their industry counterparts. After recently performing at the 2017 American Music Awards and previously collaborating with The Chainsmokers, who produced BTS’s track ‘Best of Me’, it’s safe to say that they are a force to be reckoned with. Maybe this is why Steve Aoki came together with the group and worked on a collaboration that would eventually make k-pop history.
Aoki did an astounding remix of their popular track ‘Mic Drop‘ along with filming a new music video. Although the song already has over 20 million streams on Spotify, Steve Aoki’s remix made BTS the first k-pop group in history be #1 on the US iTunes chart. K-pop has always had a cult following in the US, and now it is brought to the surface in triumph.
