EDC Mexico 2018 Lineup Features Deadmau5, Eric Prydz, & More

EDC Mexico
Insomniac Events keeps throwing the best gigs, whether it’s in the US or overseas. Now, the lineup of EDC Mexico 2018 has just been announced, and we can assure you, you will definitely want to book your flights to Mexico after reading this.

For next year’s edition, EDC Mexico has already confirmed the presence of some of the biggest names in the current dance music industry: Above & Beyond, Eric Prydz, Cirez D, Cristoph, Gammer, Headhunterz, Illenium, Marshmello, and Vini Vici, these are only some of the headliners for this major celebration. And, as the flyer announces, the biggest headliner of all will also be present: You.

But there is another performer who called our attention as soon as we saw him on the list: Joel Thomas Zimmerman, also known as Deadmau5. Why is this such a surprise? Well, in case you haven’t heard, things have been a bit tense over the last few years between Joel and Insomniac Events’ founder, Pasquale Rotella. It got to the point where Deadmau5 has not performed at any EDC event for 5 years, and both of them were engaged in some sort of passive argument on the social media. Seems like those differences are set behind us now, and we are happy to see them doing business again and bringing joy to all the EDM Community.

With more than 120 artists on scene, EDC Mexico is considered to be the country’s largest electronic music festival. The upcoming issue seems to be the most promising up to date, and, with the occasion of the 5th year anniversary, Insomniac is preparing an incredible infrastructure with a top quality sound system and stages that will amuse all of your senses. EDC México will be held on February 24th and 25th, at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, in Mexico City. Tickets can already be purchased through its official website here.
