BUKU Music & Art Project, held every March at Mardi Gras World in New Orleans, has established a strong reputation for their forward thinking lineups. Heading into its seventh year, Buku has once again pushed the boundaries with the release of the phase one lineup for 2018.
Leading the charge on Buku’s phase one is none other than Bassnectar, who by himself causes mass interest in the festival from his cult-like fanbase. Rounding out the phase one headliners are MGMT & rising hip-hop/R&B star SZA. As far as the rest of the electronic side of things goes, Alison Wonderland, Borgore, Mura Masa & Hippie Sabotage made it into phase one, with plenty more certainly to come on phases two and three.
