Something Wicked Will Donate $165k To Hurricane Harvey Relief

The annual Halloween festival Something Wicked is doing something great for its home state of Texas. I’m sure we have all heard of the disaster southern Texas went through when Hurricane Harvey hit them. It ravaged the city with winds, flooding, and destruction. This year has been a bad one all over for extreme weather conditions.

Several disaster relief funds have been set up and Something Wicked has announced that it will be donating $165,000 to the relief fund for Hurricane Harvey. “Harvey was a devastating storm, and our hearts and minds go out to the millions affected, including the thousands of our fans in Texas along with their families,” says Donnie Estopinal, CEO of Disco Donnie Presents.

The festival is happening on October 28th and 29th at the Sam Houston Race Park. It has gained substantial popularity over the years, so it is a perfect opportunity to show support for their local families and friends. DJs like Marshmello, Zeds Dead and RL Grime will be there. Acts of kindness like this from the festival show just how strong the sense of community is in dance music.
