Major Lazer To Host Relief Show for Caribbean Islands

While Miami has been recovering from Hurricane Irma, their neighbors to the south in the Caribbean islands are still working to bring back normal life. With six weeks to go in this hurricane season it might not all be over yet, and this has been the 8th most active season on record. It reminds us to be grateful for the good while we have it.

The guys of Major Lazer, two of which are of Caribbean backgrounds, are using their platform to throw a benefit concert for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean islands that will take place at Mana Wynwood on Monday October 16th, called Relief is the Mission. They will perform with Tory Lanez, Machel Montano and Bad Bunny, and have promised that 100% of their ticket sales will go to hurricane relief efforts.

Diplo has also donated money to Las Vegas recently to help with the recovery of the tragic shooting there.  Major Lazer has worldwide popularity, and it’s very commendable for them to use their voice and influence to to help the Caribbean.
