LA-based Gryffin is back in the air with Flight Log: 005 – Fall Cookout Mix. This is a return to the seasonally named Flight Log mixes, previously featuring ‘End of Summer’, ‘Winter Solstice’ and ‘Spring Equinox’. Opening with ‘F*ck They’ by Sofi Tukker, he spends the next 54 minutes gliding along with features from Snakehips & MØ, Portugal. the Man, ODESZA, Kygo and A R I Z O N A with his melodic house vibes.
Fans of Gryffin had been waiting over a year for the next instalment of the Flight Log series, which has been hugely popular since he started it in August 2015. He has been all over the EDM scene in 2017 with his Illenium collaboration ‘Feel Good’ ft. Daya, ‘Love in Ruins’ ft. Sinéad Harnett and his latest release ‘Nobody Compares to You’ ft. Katie Pearlman.
Gryffin releases the Fall Cookout Mix in the middle of his North American Castle in the Sky Tour, and he says he’s “[e]xcited to bring back the return of the Flight Log series. On this one I wanted to showcase a lot of songs I’ve been vibing to lately, and showcase a lot of awesome music my friends are making.”
