Best Non-Mainstream events during ADE 2017

ADE 2017
Amsterdam Dance Event is undoubtedly that time of the year when electronic music producers, DJs, rave lovers and all sort of dance industry devotees have their chance to indulge in a non-stop frenzy. During the 5 days, the whole city of Amsterdam becomes the grounds of a 24-hour music festival along with top-notch business conferences, with happenings all over town and for all tastes.

This year, ADE SoundLab allowed fans and professionals to sneak into the recording studios from internationally acclaimed music producers such as Martin Garrix (recently elected Number 1 DJ of the world according to DJMag), Joris Voorn and Oliver Heldens. And Russian producer and DJ Nina Kraviz gave a powerful talk on the evolution of her sounds. Oh, and did we mention that Ferry Corsten recorded LIVE on the DJsounds show hosted by Pioneer?

Aside from these massive happenings, ADE also supported other activities that, even if attracting a smaller audience, they still brought some first-class entertainment for all the attendees. EDMTunes picked the best 3 non-mainstream events during ADE, for those who still wanted to enjoy the best music without having to attend to a multitudinous party. Check our exclusive selection here:

Women of House:

Crazy about exploring new names? This showcase selected these ladies to rock the house with some delightful techno beats. Dutch based DJ Lady Deep and Lilly Palmer from Switzerland kept the rhythm all night and even had a violinist player live.

All Day I Dream (of Winter Sun):

Sponsored by Audio Obscura, the lineup of this event included some of European finest Progressive/Deep House producers like Eelke Kleijn, Sébastien Léger, YokoO and Henry Saiz. The event, that took place during the day, was the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon, chilling after a busy week and getting ready for a special night.

Sudbeat x The Soundgarden ADE Special:

On Friday night, Panama Amsterdam nightclub hosted this unforgettable set. British House DJ and producer Nick Warren played an all night B2B with argentinian producer Hernan Cattaneo. Allowing you to travel into different dimensions without leaving your spot, they played for 8 hours and blended perfectly until the sunrise.
