12-Year-Old DJ Rena Named DMC World Champion

Every day there seems to be a new upcoming artist that is slowly climbing their way up the ladder of success. Today, it’s our pleasure to shine the light on a young producer who has certainly earned a prestigious award. DJ Rena, a 12-year-old musician from Japan, has been dominating the 2017 DMC World DJ Championships with his absolutely impeccable scratching and mixing talents. Commanding respect and making a name for himself at such a young age were only a few of the tasks that he was juggling. This resulted in the greatest honor of all: becoming the new DMC World Champion and not to mention the most juvenile (but not the most inexperienced!)

A title of this caliber will be greatly recognized among the music and entertainment business allowing it’s new proud owner bragging rights and some sweet prizes – notably the a stylish new jacket which does all the talking for him, and an incredible award that he will undoubtedly cherish forever. His family was all smiles as they relished in his proud accomplishment.

A special shout out goes to the two equally skilled runner-ups. In second place DJ Skillz from France showcased his talents alongside the dynamic third runner-up, DJ Spell from New Zealand.

If you are anything like us, you absolutely can’t wait for his set to be released. In the meantime, you can get your fix by viewing his Goldie Awards DJ Battle Submission below. Once again, a big praise goes out to this truly deserving artist. Keep up the great work!
