Skrillex went to his social media today to surprise fans that his much anticipated remix of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Humble’ is only one day away! In a recent interview with Triple J radio station, Sonny shared some details on the remix. After getting the thumbs up from Kendrick Lamar on the official release of the remix of ‘Humble’, Skrillex seemed to be just as excited about the release as we, the fans, were.
The remix first popped up during his Dog Blood performance during HARD Summer. Being that he has been relatively quiet in terms of touring, he hasn’t had too many opportunities to play the track live himself. However, during his performance to close out Webster Hall in New York City, a fan recorded the track being played live. Out of the blue Thursday night he announced a release today, and here it is for your listening pleasure below.
