San Francisco funk maestro Kaptain continues to pump out groovy tunes with a brand new single titled ‘Never Will (Revamp)‘. We last saw him 6 months ago when he dropped a track called ‘Distracted’, which solidified his ability to create some serious electronic music with soul behind it. His sound does not appeal to just fans of electronic music but may also catch the ear of those fans of jam bands which is a rarity.
On his latest track, it’s clear his glitchy funk sound is becoming has matured some more this year. After a good listen one can truly appreciate ‘Never Will (Revamp)’ for what it is, combining a skilled set of production elements including strong arrangement, writing, and instrument choice, while tapping into the overall ambiance that a good glitch-hop track should.
