So the news is finally official, the iPhone X (10) will forgo Touch ID and the home button iPhone lovers have been so accustomed to. “Don’t worry because Face ID is quicker and more secure than Touch ID”, they tell us during the demo. It scans your face using 3D wizardry that you’ll never even notice.
In case this whole thing made you nervous, Apple’s stage demo didn’t help the matter. When the groundbreaking new feature (that Android has had for years) was demonstrated on stage, the Face ID failed miserably.

We’re sure this will get better with time, but iPhone X buyers might just end up reverting to the good ol’ PIN like they did in the olden days.
