Veteran Burner and well-known DJ/producer Diplo returned to the temporary city of Burning Man this year for yet another wild year of the annual festival in the desert. The Major Lazer frontman is no stranger to the infamous event and has participated in the festivities of Burning Man for the past few years. Last year, Diplo and Skrillex made an appearance at the festival and even performed a B2B Jack Ü set in the middle of a sandstorm.
With Jack Ü’s disbanding late last year, Diplo participated in the Burn this year alone and performed at on the Camp Questionmark stage, along with numerous other sets on playa.
I’m just gonna dump all these playa pics right here u can go through them if you care what kinda looks I had but actually I never wore clothes and I lost my shoes on the way out the desert . Big shout it robot heart, camp question mark, duck pond, sivii, bounce and all the other art cars I got to play on .. see u next year and I’ll be uploading all my sets to SoundCloud this week .. very hi shoutout to @gene.vi.eve for basically taking care of me or I would have slept at the trash fence . Also @erichamiilton
The music selections for his set were rather interesting as he incorporated a combination of throwback hip-hop tracks, trap and even some progressive house tracks. But through the genius of DJing skills, the variety of music blended together to form a masterful performance.
