Savoy & Grabbitz – Contemplate
Savoy is one group that is no stranger to experimenting with different sounds. Ever since their inception, the Brooklyn based trio have combined a classic rock sound with a variety of dance music genres to much success. And what better label for such an eclectic group than Monstercat. They have previously released a handful of tracks on the label including a collab with Sound Remedy entitled ‘Leaving You‘. And now they are back to drop their latest track, ‘Contemplate‘ together with fellow NY producer Grabbitz.
If you’ve been looking for something fresh that isn’t your run-of-the-mill drop-filled banger, this might be the track for you. Right from the beginning you get a a very different, very 80’s synthpop feel. And Grabbitz’s smooth vocals only enhances that sound. All of it comes together to create the kind of song that takes you on a journey. Give it a listen and keep an eye out for future releases from them.
