OWSLA artist josh pan made quite the name for himself last year when he released a 14-minute long remix of Keith Ape’s ‘IT G MA’, which he dubbed the josh pan Opus. The remix features production from the likes of Oshi, Medasin, X&G, Misogi, and Sakuraburst. Also featured are rappers A$AP Ferg, Anderson .Paak, Father, Dumbfoundead & Waka Flocka Flame. Since then, pan has released several other tracks, including the hauntingly powerful ‘nowhere’ with X&G, and a remix of Lil Uzi Vert’s ‘XO Tour Llif3’ with Medasin.
And now he just released a new track ‘give it to ya’ featuring R&B artist ABRA, with an accompanying visualizer directed by French visual artist Quentin Deronzier. He continues to push the boundaries of current electronic music with this track. The hard-hitting futuristic beat complements ABRA’s commanding vocals. Meanwhile, the dark and evocative visualizer tells the story of a “Queen of a realm sunk in darkness” delivering light to her people.
