Die Antwoord Astonishes with a Creepy Trailer for their ‘South African Ninja’ TV Show

The extremely perplexing artistic expression that Die Antwoord is known for and has been displaying over the years will live on in our hearts and some of our nightmares for years to come. Their intricate styles categorized as Zef is described by the duo’s very own Yolandi as “you’re poor but you’re fancy. You’re poor but you’re sexy, you’ve got style.” Since 2008 the iconic couple, Ninja and Yolandi, and their producer God, have exuded strange, yet intriguing behaviors within their personal life and through their music that their devoted supporters have grown to adore. It has been recently reported that their creative basis is all part of a larger picture – thus, the ‘South African Ninja’ TV series comes into play.

The rap-rave lovers have never limited themselves or their unusual and intricate vision – they have always pushed through the controversy in order to express their ideas and perceptions through their numerous music videos and their songs.

Since launching their borderline gory and somewhat disturbing TV Show teaser through ZEF TV, the talented duo has also reported their longtime plans for their video project through the below comment:

“All the ZEF videos and movies DIE ANTWOORD have made over the last 7 years were little clips from our own TV SERIES we making called SOUTH AFRICAN NINJA!”

As all great tales through time go, there must always be an end – this will be the case for the iconic team as they have alleged plans to break up after releasing their fifth and final album ‘The Book of Zef.’ Although the date is still unknown, Die Antwoord has said in the past that they might “disappear” in 2017.

“Die Antwoord dies on that day. It’s all over. I feel beautiful about it. I’m not scared of the end. I’m a Ninja. I’m not scared of death,” -NINJA STATED back in 2016.

Fans do not need to fret just yet, the Cape Town band still has some impressive plans in mind: the launch of their highly anticipated TV Show and their beloved tours (locations have yet to be determined).

Lastly, it is important to note that the “death” of Die Antwoord does not necessarily mean that fans won’t see Ninja, Yolandi, nor God anymore – dedicated supporters can assume that it makes much more sense for each of the artists to continue down their own artistic path with solo projects and collaborations. In an era where nothing is certain, “death” does not have to be either!
