The Micronauts’ original  “Get Funky Get Down” was released in 1995. The Micronauts are a techno/electronica duo from France as well. In the Daft Punk remix, fans will notice the French house and funky sounds usually attributed with the duo. Having been more than 20 years since the release, the track could certainly use an update. The track has made a resurgence amongst vinyl record collectors, making the reissue absolutely relevant for listeners in 2017.
