Leave it to none other than Seth Rogen to take an uncomfortable situation and somehow make it uncomfortably hilarious. The actor and director known for spearheading outrageous blockbusters like The 40 Year Old Virgin and Pineapple Express announced that he, along with the comedy troupe The Lonely Island, have been working on a new film project with a plot strikingly similar to that of last weekend’s Fyre Festival nightmare.

Rogen tweeted: “This seems like a good time to mention the movie we are making with [The Lonely Island] about a music festival that goes HORRIBLY WRONG.”

The Lonely Island, which consists of comedians Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer, confirmed Seth’s statement and joked that they may pursue legal action against Fyre Festival founders for stealing their original plot idea. All jokes aside, Fyre Festival founders Ja Rule and Billy McFarland actually are facing a $100M lawsuit for the scam that occurred over the weekend.
