Lil Yachty – Forever Young (feat. Diplo)
For those unfamiliar with him, Lil Yachty is a 19 year old rapper from Atlanta who stepped onto the scene only a year ago and has since become recognized for his style of mumble rap.  And yesterday he just released his debut studio album, Teenage Emotions. One track in particular caught our eye and that was ‘Forever Young‘ which was made in collaboration with producer and Mad Decent head honcho, Diplo.
Fans of each artist naturally had some reservations about how mumble rap and EDM could possibly blend together well. Thankfully, Lil Yachty and Diplo proved those naysayers wrong. The resulting track is a smooth blend of both their styles and has a laid-back summer trap feel. Chances are high that you’ll hear this track on the radio or remixed by other producers this summer.
