Axwell /\ Ingrosso – Renegade
Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso are ready to finally close the door on those Swedish House Mafia days and establish a new sound and direction for the duo. Since their beginning they have released singles, but they are marking a big change with their More Than You Know EP, which is out on May 24. This writer has heard the whole thing and can attest that it is outstanding. Where the duo may have been lacking direction before, they are finally coming into their own and out of the SHM shadow. To kick off the pre-sales for the new EP, Axwell /\ Ingrosso are releasing the first single, “Renegade“. ”
Renegade” is the most chilled out track on the EP, and has a bit of an old pre-SHM Axwell feel to it. It’s a groovy Summer track that is perfect for those sun-filled drives to the beach or lounging by the pool.
The EP has 3 more tracks to come titled, More Than You Know, How Do You Feel Right Now, Dawn. This will mark a new era for the Swedish duo, and they will be touring around Europe this Summer to show off the new direction. You can pre-order the EP here and check out “Renegade” below.
