Marshmello Drum Battles Travis Barker During Coachella Set

Every year Coachella gathers the music industry’s biggest stars, including artists on the lineup and a large number who are just there to enjoy the festival. With so many artists and collaborators in one place, Coachella provides the perfect stage for surprise guest appearances. This year, Travis Barker decided to get in on the fun, as he just joined Marshmello on stage to drum along with Mello’s hit song “Alone.”

Following the live edition of “Alone,” Marshmello hopped behind an additional drum set to challenge Barker to a drum battle. While it seemed pretty obvious that the man behind the mask is not the most seasoned drummer, he certainly didn’t embarrass himself with the sticks in his hand on a big stage. Add Travis Barker to the list of awesome guest appearances at sets throughout Coachella’s first weekend, including Future bringing out Drake and Migos joining DJ Khaled. With weekend one almost in the books, it’s safe to say weekend two has a lot to live up to.
