In the modern world, social media websites have much more power and influence than we ever thought they would. What started out with just a few websites like Myspace has grown into a phenomenon that artists, companies and entire industries use to advertise, communicate and keep themselves going on.
With all that in mind, when a DJ as big as Kygo deletes everything from his Instagram account, that gets people’s attention. For whatever reason, at some point yesterday, Kygo’s Insta account was wiped clean. It could be an error or a case of hacking, but we are reminded that actions such as these are taken in the days leading up to big news or big announcements. Could 2017 be another monster year for Kygo? We know he has a Selena Gomez collab, which was recently teased by the pop star (see below), on the horizon, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more developments.
