Coliseum Corruption Case Comes To A Close

edcEDC, or Electronic Daisy Carnival, is one of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world and is owned by Insomniac Events – first originating with their Las Angeles event. EDC has been extremely profitable as a business and expanded to other states such as California, Colorado, Florida, New York and also abroad to Mexico, the UK, Brazil, Japan and India.

They came under public scrutiny because of a corruption case involving high ranked members, which has now been officially settled.

Pasquale Rotella had reached an agreement for his alleged embezzlement of funds between LA-based Memorial Coliseum and his own company in addition to alleged bribery charges, which included three years probation as well as a sum of $150,000.

Patrick Lynch, formerly of Coliseum, plead guilty to the felony charge and paid $385,000 as a part of the settlement, as well as has to serve 1,500 hours of community service and is also on probation for three years.

Looks like justice has been served.
