Wonderfruit 2017 Announces New Dates and Programs

Wonderfruit, Thailand’s unparalleled camping festival, is postponed until February 16-19, 2017 to honor to the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and respect the country’s mourning period. Orginally set for December 2016, the festival will return to The Fields at Siam Country Club in Pattaya, and will once again bring out world renowned musicians, captivating talks, breaking-taking stages and art installations, interactive workshops, and much more for both adults and kids.

Their diverse and carefully curated lineup includes live drum-and-bass legends Rudimental, Scottish hip-hop trio Young Fathers, as well as world-class vocalists Shura and Lianne La Havas, and will feature the likes of Buke and GaseJUNUN featuring Shye Ben Tzur & The Rajasthan Express, Kate Simko & London Electronic Orchestra, Mad Professor, Wolf + Lamb, YokoO, Sabo, Eric Volta, Coran, Noxro, Mark Antona, and much more. While EnVision CEO Todd Lemons and Natural Capital Alliance founder Alan Laubsch are invited to talk, with Dr. Andy Cornish, Eddie Brock, and Trash Hero to tell their stories and discuss their mission to a sustainable future.

Beyond their epic lineup, Wonderfruit will also treat attendees with their interactive stages and awestruck art installations which include The Farm Stage, an exceptionally unique stage decked out of harvested rice, along with the Solar Stage and the Molam Bus. You can also find stunning art pieces like the chime based Wonder Lily Island, the Cocoon Playground, and a dazzling display of light animations discovered at the Bonafide.

Most importantly, Wonderfruit works hard to build a sustainable future by donating a portion of their profits to the Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve, Worldview International Foundation, and Heyerdahl Mangrove Coin. In addition, they will offer people “green” drinks (priced only at a dollar more) the proceeds from these will go into planting mangrove trees in the Wonderfruit Forest area.
