Moby Will Play Oakland Fire Victims Benefit Show This Weekend

OaklandAfter the devastating disaster that was the Oakland Ghost Ship Warehouse Fire, Moby has announced that he will play a benefit show at San Francisco’s Mezzanine this coming Sunday, December 11.

Many of those lives that were lost last weekend were beloved artists and musicians in the San Francisco scene, and our hearts are heavy with their loss. Sunday’s aim is to bring the community together and allow us to mourn together while simultaneously gathering donations that will support those affected by the fire.

The show has garnered support from a massive amount of venues and event companies from the city, including Another Planet Entertainment, Crossroads, Dirtybird Records, EyeHearSF, GoldenVoice, HUSHconcert, The Independent, 1015 Folsom and more, truly demonstrating how tight-knight our San Francisco community is. We are together in times of tragedy.

Along with a minimum door donation of $20, there will also be a silent auction/raffle that closes at 11pm. Proceeds from the show will go to the Gray Area Foundation for the Arts Oakland Fire Fund.

You can find more details on the Facebook event page.
