Taco Bell’s New Las Vegas Restaurant Has A DJ Booth

Taco Bell

Taco Bell is often thought of as the go-to drunk or high meal, and the place that you always go to the drive-thru, but never actually eat in. But now, the chain of Mexican cantinas wants to be known for one more thing: having in-house DJs.

Taco Bell has opened its newest “flagship destination”, a 24-hour restaurant located on the Las Vegas Strip, that has a retail store, VIP lounges and DJ booths. Marisa Thalberg, chief marketing officer for the brand, calls this new opening the “ultimate expression of the Taco Bell brand and lifestyle.”

This new cantina will serve a more adult audience, following in the foot steps of its adult predecessors in San Francisco, Chicago and Austin. The restaurant will attempt to entice the older crowd by getting rid of the ever-popular drive-thru and adding digital menu boards, alcoholic slushies, “tapas-style nachos, quesadillas, and chicken fingers,” according to Las Vegas Now.

Not to mention, endless TB swag in the retail store for all your taco-loving needs.

This new journey is meant to rebrand the Taco Bell image by revamping the restaurants as well as the brand. A new logo is in the works for the first time in 25 years, and the company plans to open 2,000 new restaurants by 2022.
