Watch This Unreleased Music Video For Skrillex’s “Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites”

I was in my first year in college in the fall of 2010 when my friend texted me a link of some artist who had been releasing some really dope dubstep. It ended up being on other than Sonny Moore himself, Skrillex. The one song that stuck out to us was “Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites” (you may remember that it never received a visual accompaniment). The euphoric buildup into the vocal sample of the young girl’s excited reaction after completing a speed stacking challenge will be remembered by dance music fans for a very long time. Since then, Skrillex has become one of the most beloved producers in the entire industry.

If you’re a fan of the track, you need to check out this unreleased music video for the hit single. Skrillex has apparently played snippets of the video during his live shows, but the full version has never been released. Check out the “Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites” video, which is full of monsters and sprites, for yourself below. It will surely bring back some 2010 nostalgia!
