One of the world’s most successful and youngest DJs has surprised the world again. Dutch DJ Martin Garrix posted a photo on his Facebook page Friday afternoon with an exciting quote sharing that “Because of all the amazing support you have given me this year I wanted to do something back…[I’m] releasing 7 songs in the next 7 days.” So far Garrix has released four of the seven songs on his own STMPD Records.
1.)Â Martin Garrix & Mesto – WIEE
This track shows resemblance to Martin Garrix and fellow Dutch DJ/producer, Mesto’s former collaboration with Justin Mylo, Bouncybob, as well as Garrix’s solo “happy house” hit, Forbidden Voices. While “WIEE” may be similar to some past releases, this song has a unique power of its own. The track also features a cute lil vocal chop during the drop that literally goes “weeeee!”
2. Martin Garrix – Sun Is Never Going Down (feat. Dawn Golden)
I have never heard a track the embodies the genre “Progressive House” more than this Martin Garrix x Dawn Golden collaboration. Dawn Golden hits vocal ranges I haven’t heard him use before and seems to show some resemblance to Coldplay vocalist, Chris Martin. Garrix’s claps on the buildup are a huge audio cue that make this sound perfect for festivals.

It started with “Registration Code”, then it was “Error 404”, after that “Wizard”, and now it’s “Spotless.” This makes Martin Garrix and Jay Hardway four-time collaborators with the release of this pure electro-house banger.
These seven releases from Martin Garrix is huge news for the industry, considering that several Garrix hits are getting heavy radio syndication as we speak, not to mention how popular Martin Garrix’s songs have been in the past. The songs themselves also bring up some questions: are these seven releases going to be tracks from Martin Garrix’s upcoming album due before the end of this year, or are they separate releases that stand alone from the album? I’m hoping for the several separate releases route… since that just means more Martin Garrix music in the world.
