Lido – Everything

There are a lot of producers today that don’t get the credit they deserve. To this writer, there’s one name that stands out in that list, his name is Lido. We occasionally hear his name, but compared to his talents, not nearly enough. The Norwegian producer actually started off rapping (has some serious chops btw) and has now transitioned into more production working with artists like Halsey, Diplo, and Chance The Rapper. Today. we get a result of his personal style on his latest album, Everything.

Everything is a serious emotionally driven compilation. If track titles such as: “Crazy”, “Murder”, and “Dye”, aren’t convincing enough, the sound and style of the tracks will. Lido’s hip hop influences can be heard throughout the album especially on tracks like, “Only One” and “Crazy”, which along with hip hop, takes a very R&B/future bass direction. The album is available to stream on multiple platforms, but Lido mentioned something being free, just like the album via Twitter. Perhaps this means free music or maybe it’s something a little more personal. Regardless, you will not be disappointed with his latest work, Everything.
