Justin Vernon of Bon Iver Throws Down Techno Set at German Festival

Justin Vernon
With the release of Bon Iver’s new album 22, A Million hitting shelves and download portals last Friday, they’re in the prime spotlight when it comes to their booking schedule. As the full band played a show in Berlin for Michelberger Music, the two-day music and visual arts festival that Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) and Aaron and Bryce Dessner (the National) helped to put on at the Michelberger Hotel, Justin was able to stray from the band for a solo Friday night performance with included collaborations with members of the Teenage Engineering team and UK rapper Trim for a live house and techno set. Other various artists joined in on the action at the Funkhaus studio spaces for impromptu jams and additional oddball collaborations in which the event takes pride in promoting.
