We love our peeps over at Dim Mak, they’ve got one of the best farm systems in the business. So many up-and-coming producers find a home for their early releases on Dim Mak, launching them into the greater dance music universe. And this track from Morten is no exception.

This release from Morten is a great example of what happens when producers stop rigidly following what’s popular at festivals, and try to capture their own flavor of party. Mr. Vegas provides the ragga vocals a tune like this absolutely requires, with the bumping progressive and an almost-electro vibe that never crosses into the realm of bro-lectro or abrasive EDM. It feels exactly in line with how the Dim Mak artists sounded at Space Ibiza NYC at their Electric Zoo afterparty (a massive event that if you missed, you fucked up). Big sounds, not necessarily big room, potent, punchy, sweat-inducing, but with enough reggae influences that it brings you down when you need it.
