deadmau5 Rips Into DJ After He Copies His Patented Cube Stage

deadmau5 has always been known for pushing the boundaries when it comes to the inherit relationship between electronic music and technology. One of the ways he exhibits this passion is through the insane amount of production that goes into his live shows. The mau5 is known for his cutting-edge stage designs, with one of the most iconic ones being ‘The Cube‘. To this day, this particular stage is still adored by his fans. That being said, it seems like one DJ took his love for the cube a little too far.

During a recent show in Austin, Texas, Eric Fink (who just so happens to be Krewella’s former tour manager) performed on a cube-shaped stage that was eerily similar to deadmau5′ patented design. Initial tweets suggested that DJ Tigerlilly was the culprit, but the Canadian producer later cleared the air. Needless to say, deadmau5 was not pleased with the situation and voiced his frustrations on Twitter:
