While fans are generally happy over an album leak, what they may not be cognizant of is the fact that album leaks are quite harmful to artists and their management teams. Pre-planned release dates have to be revised, sales do not do as well, and overall excitement for the album is less heightened. For Dutch drum and bass trio Noisia, this is especially true with their new album Outer Edges. After receiving news about the album’s leaking on Friday, Thijs Martijn and Nik took to Facebook to express their disappointment regarding the unfortunate event. Nonetheless, they are making the most of the situation and releasing the album early for their fans to enjoy.
