Known as one of the biggest names in the groovy, sexy, deeper house scene, Swiss DJ/producer EDX continues to bring the heat this summer with his newest release, a fantastical rendition of Groove Armada’s “My Friend.” The long-time celebrated artist has been bringing his groovy, summertime vibes to fans everywhere while performing on his ‘Roadkill’ world tour, and he hasn’t been shy in releasing a number of new tunes that continue to impress. His ‘Ibiza Sunrise’ remix of “Roadkill” hit the #1 spot on the Beatport House Chart, adding onto his hefty catalogue of achievements that he’s received this past year.
Now, EDX is back to set the tone for the waning summertime season. “My Friend” is transformed into a seductive, late-night number, mixed with robust chords, skating hi-hats, and warbling bass tones. The track in its entirety is summed up into the liveliness of a warm summer breeze, perfect for the poolside or a night out in the club.
