Deadmau5 – Saved
What else is possible for Deadmau5 to accomplish? Seriously. He has completely redefined dance music in the North America. He’s probably offended you on Twitter. He’s taken his live shows and stage setups to staggering new heights. I’m thinking he should start scoring movies, but that’s just a thought. His latest is a nearly 10-minute long sample titled, “Saved.” The keyword in that sentence is sample, because this one song could probably go on for another 20 minutes (kinda wish it would). Saved, is just one piece from the upcoming mau5trap compilation album, We Are Friends Vol. 5. It’s currently available for pre-order here.
Deadmau5 recently built a massive studio in his home and clearly he’s putting it to good use. This track builds incredibly slowly and somehow, like most of his music, lulls us into a hypnotic trance until we realize the song is over and start it all over again. Regardless of how you feel about him, you have to respect his dedication to his craft and his ability to deliver tracks like this one. Check it out below!
