You could say that LA’s newest resident is taking his transition into the city pretty well. 19-year-old Cade is taking his career off the ground and introducing the world to his eclectic meld of R&B and electronic music. He’s already made his live debut at the El Rey alongside Ramzoid, and now he’s ready to reveal his newest project to his quickly acquired fanbase.
The Care EP begins with the title track of the work, released earlier this month to introduce listeners to Cade’s atmospheric sound. The two new tracks mimic the ambience of the first, albeit their own notable peculiarities. “Escape” begins with sweeping, light beats, slowly moving into a steady ride of a grooving guitar rhythms, arching synths, and a deep bass line. The final track, “Make You Feel Loved” offers a future bass touch with intoxicating synth sweeps and pixelated vocal chops.
