While Zedd‘s relationship with pop icon Selena Gomez led to their hit single, “I Want You To Know,” his recent bromance with Grey has proven to be even more fruitful. Grey is a cutting edge future bass producer who first rose to prominence after his remix of Zedd’s “Beautiful Now.” He has since followed that up with two more stirring remixes of Zedd’s work, this time of his singles “True Colors” and “Papercut.” Back in February, Grey actually teamed up with Zedd on their own collaborative track when they remade the classic track, “The Candyman” for M&M’s. Their version of “Candyman” featured an impressive roster of collaborators, as the brilliant composer Joe Trapanese and soulful vocalist Aloe Blacc joined these two artists.
For Zedd and Grey’s newest collaboration, they will once again enlist an impressive vocalist to round out the track. Hailee Steinfeld is an extremely talented woman, as she is an Academy Award nominated actress as well as a model and singer. She recently teamed up with the budding young producer Prince Fox to deliver their powerfully emotional new track, “Fragile.” Her beautiful voice should mesh perfectly with Zedd and Grey’s radio friendly style, which fans will be able to hear on July 15th when “Starving” is released.
