Whether you love him or hate him, Steve Aoki has undoubtedly had a huge impact on the electronic music industry. He has had a long list of achievements in his career, one of which would be founding Dim Mak Records and growing it into one of the biggest EDM record labels out there at the moment. He really started his DJ career in 1996, but started to gain international traction around 2010-12 when EDM started to hit the mainstream in North America.
Over his 20 year career, Steve Aoki has become one of the most well known names in EDM and he is showing no signs of slowing down. He announced that he will be releasing a documentary, I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead exclusively on Netflix on August 19th. The trailer for the film has just been published on his YouTube page and it looks like a great insight into the wild life that he’s lived.
