Sia & Diplo – Waving Goodbye
Director Nicolas Winding Refn definitely has a great ear for music. Having previously hit a home run with his soundtrack for the film Drive, he’s now back again with The Neon Demon, tapping previous collaborators (“Elastic Heart”) Sia and Diplo for a soaring, triumphant new single “Waving Goodbye”. Diplo and his team did what they do best on the song, creating a canvas of hyperactive beats for Sia to lay her powerful, defiant vocals on top. This song screams anthem from the first play and I’m sure many people around the world will be screaming the lyrics “One hand is holding your body / The other is waving goodbye / I love you, but it’s your turn to cry.” Have a listen below and see for yourself!
