Rising Star – Again (Armin van Buuren Remix)
Armin van Buuren, legendary Dutch Trance DJ and label head of Armada Music, brings you a remix of one of his Rising Star releases – “Again”.
“Again” is a great example of a heavy vocal trance track. The beginning of the track combines a beautiful piano riff with Betsie Larkin‘s uplifting lyrics that is backed by a modulation from a major key to a minor one. The build begins at 1:12 with a gated synthesizer and the synth’s melody mimics a fluctuating heart beat (further emphasized by the lyrics) as it ascends through intervals and then descends again into the minor key at 1:42. The drop begins at 2:10 and it’s pure magic; it’s clear that Armin can still throw down incredible trance productions despite his mainstage sets.
