Music lovers unite for a man that needs no introduction. Music that has transcended reality and a state of being that has entranced millions of dance music lovers all around the world. Here we have, Armin Van Buuren’s A State of Trance 2016 compilation. The soundtrack to this year.
The first half of the compilation album, On the Beach features 19 massive tracks, some that we’ve already fallen in love with. Starting with, Omnia’s “Alien“ , Rodg‘s “High on Life” and ending with Manse’s remix of Armin’s, “Freefall” featuring Bullysongs, the first half of the album is fulfilling and yet continues to drive us to want more. Luckily, for us, the second half, In the Club delivers just the same feelings. With more massive hits including Gaia’s “Inyathi,“ David Gravell’s, “Stay Awake” and Bryan Kearney’s, “By My Side“ with beautiful vocals provided by Christina Novelli. Of course to top it all off are hour long mixes for each disc of the compilation featuring all the tracks on the compilation.
The timing of the release is perfect as Armin’s A State of Trance Tour begins in Amsterdam today. So for those of us, not blessed enough to be in attendance, this album will suffice. Although the compilation is an annual gift, we never cease to be amazed at the work, dedication, and passion that is provided by the various producers.
