Earlier this week Skream, a well known house producer and DJ, strapped a loudspeaker to a rickshaw and paraded around London, playing his signature blend of rowdy house music. Fans flocked to central London after seeing his post on Instagram in hopes to see the legendary DJ pedal by.

I’ve not laughed so much in my whole life @skreamizm @easternelectrics

Skream, originally residing from South London, is somewhat of a local hero, and also well known around the area for his antics.

This spectacle was actually a clever guerilla marketing project to promote the upcoming Eastern Electrics festival, which has a carefully curated lineup of some of house music’s biggest names such as Seth Troxler, Hot Since 82, Eats Everything, and of course Skream.

Its been a busy spring for Skream so far, who recently just returned from Miami after performing with Lee Foss at Ultra Music festival. This summer, keep an eye out for this English DJ because whether it be a rickshaw or a festival main stage, Skream does not disappoint.
