The Music Lounge by BMF & iHeart Media [Event Review]

Celebrating its’ 10th anniversary, The Music Lounge by BMF & iHeart Media, was one of Miami Music Week’s hottest events. Taking place at the luxurious W South Beach Hotel & Residences, the intimate event was a VIP hotspot over the weekend, with famous faces popping in for drinks and A-list DJ’s playing killer sets. The event, which featured sponsors such as Jägermeister, 7 Up, and Heineken, featured incredible talent like Martin Garrix, Laidback Luke, Oliver Heldens, Steve Aoki playing to a small crowd in a simple DJ booth that placed their performances front and center. Even if they weren’t performing, it seemed like every DJ in town at least stopped by The Music Lounge, whether for a drink or to just enjoy the experience; Afrojack, 3LAU, Steve Angello and many more were casually mingling with the crowd, playing ping pong, and taking in their peers’ performances. Other celebrity sightings included Reggie Bush, Russell Simmons, and a few reality stars. Overall, The Music Lounge provided one of the most unique, high-end, and music-focused events of Miami Music Week and is a must-attend event.
