Pop-fueled as ever, the lyricism bridles on a punk-leaning groove, surrounded by a production mantra that travels from melancholic to urban. The Maryland producer shows a knack for melody on ‘Dreaming of You’, and the songwriting is an up and down affair that jumps between solid lyricism and somewhat forced one liners.
