San Holo- Can’t Forget You (ft. The Nicholas)
San Holo is an incredibly diverse and richly talented producer, known for experimenting with all different sounds and styles. He has recently lent this skill to some of the most iconic tracks in music in a new project called “Don’t Touch The Classics.” In addition to his incendiary remake of Blur’s “Song 2,” he has taken on some of hip-hop’s most famous tracks, including Nelly’s “Ride Wit Me,” Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” and Dr. Dre’s “The Next Episode.” San Holo’s musical catalogue extends far beyond these remixes, with his “Victory EP” and remixes of “Natural Light” and “doubleOreo” being some of his most noteworthy work. His newest release is a brand new original for Spinnin’ Records titled “Can’t Forget You.”
“Can’t Forget You” begins with an immediate immersion in a brightly sunny soundscape complemented by The Nicholas‘ heavenly vocals. San Holo builds up the track slowly and smoothly before igniting it with shrill future bass synths and a rhythmically bouncy melody. San Holo expertly contrasts his energetic breakdowns with peaceful production and angelic vocals that give the track a sense of raw emotion.
