ZHU x Skrillex x THEY – Working For It
The sixth and final track off the Genesis Series is getting the full release it deserves. A few weeks ago, a snippet was published on ZHU’s VEVO account: an enticing black a white animated video depicting an animated Skrillex chasing a car in a helicopter through a downtown metropolis, presumably Los Angeles. The full version goes into detail, giving the whole story instead of just the car chase. Truly in ZHU fashion in how encrypt and mysterious the entire rollout of the EP has been. This video is a follow up to a series of videos taken at CRSSD Festival in San Diego, where ZHU made a rare US appearance at the fledgling offshoot festival from the folk that bring you Coachella. There is one other collaborator on the tune that we can’t forget to mention whose name is THEY. Only the third artist to be signed to ZHU’s Mind of a Genius label. The other being Gallant who has already been praised for by Elton John for possessing a voice of a generation in his track “Weight of Gold”. Not much is known on the outside about ZHU’s next move, but make no mistaken, him and his marketing team will continue to dazzle us.
