Producer Budo Releases Single “An Elderly Woman Named Jeff”

An Elderly Woman Named Jeff by Budo

Josh Karp, i.e. Budo, has just released his first solo track titled “An Elderly Woman Named Jeff.” The track is a surreal experience, filled with unique and versatile sounds which combine in strange yet perfect harmonies.

As both record producer and musician, Karp has recorded, collaborated and toured with many different artists from many different genres, including the Macklemore and Ryan Lewis team. In 2013, Karp worked with Ghanaian artist M.Anifest and won a Ghana Music Award for best hip hop song of the year.

Karp is currently working on the newest Macklemore and Ryan Lewis record, but is also excited to release a full length solo experiment electronic project, starting with “An Elderly Woman Named Jeff.”

“An Elderly Woman Named Jeff is a battle cry. It is a shout to the heavens, a statement of purpose, and a thing of odd beauty. I haven’t released new solo music in over 2 years. Jeff is a song that celebrates a new direction, a new beginning, and a new way forward. This is independent music, made by me, for you. I humbly ask that, if you like it, you share it with your friends, family, co-workers, children, neighbors, and elderly companions.” – Budo
