Major Lazer – Peace Is The Mission (Extended)
Major Lazer released their highly anticipated album Peace Is the Mission, back in June, with “Lean On” (featuring DJ Snake & Mø) being by far the biggest track in the album, going platinum in the United States. Now, the extended version of this amazing album is here and with it comes 3 new tracks: “Thunder & Lightning” (feat. Gent & Jawns), “Wave” (feat Kali Uchis), and “Boom” (feat Ty Dolla $ign,Wizkid, & Kranium).
When we first heard that Ty Dolla $ign, MOTi and Major Lazer would be working on a track together, we knew it would be huge. It is very reminiscent of “Lean On” and definitely a tune to keep an eye on. “Thunder & Lightning” is full of energy thanks to trap drums and upbeat vocal chops. It’s the perfect combination of Gent & Jawns aggressive trap style with Major Lazer’s caribbean flair. Finally, “Wave” is reggae song to calm you down after listening to the other hype tracks from the extended album.
